What we do
01 — Web app development
We build multi-tenant SaaS the whole way down: auth, roles, row-level security, billing, background jobs, PDF generation, transactional email, and the boring admin tooling that decides whether a product survives its first hundred customers.
MyRoofPlan.com and MyRoofMap.com both run on this stack today, handling live payments and real field crews.
02 — AI-native engineering
A chat box in the corner is not an AI product. We use models where they actually remove work: reading imagery, extracting structure from documents, drafting the first version of something a human then approves, and automating the steps nobody wanted to do by hand.
We build the evaluation and guardrails alongside it, so the feature still behaves next quarter.
03 — Devices and living rooms
Most software stops at the browser. We keep going: native mobile apps published on the App Store and Google Play, applications for the Ring Appstore, and big-screen TV experiences built for a remote control instead of a mouse.
HomeField.tv is ours end to end, from the video pipeline to the ten-foot interface.

Every one of these is live software with real users, not a case study we wrote about someone else's project.
Type an address, get a measured roof. Aerial imagery, polygon capture, pitch and area math, and a delivered report, sold to homeowners and contractors without a sales call in the middle.
An operating system for roofing companies: customers, properties, crews, scheduling, proposals, and billing, isolated per company down to the database row.
Your Ring cameras on the television. Live streams, a wall of feeds, and a saved-clip library, designed for a couch and a remote instead of a phone held at arm's length.
We take on a small number of outside builds each year, usually the ones that need someone who will own the whole thing rather than a slice of it.

One working session, not a six-week engagement. We come out of it with the job to be done, the constraints, and the smallest thing worth building first.
You get a deployed, usable version early, running on production infrastructure. Feedback on software beats feedback on a slide deck.
Auth, permissions, payments, backups, monitoring, and the failure paths. This is the part that gets skipped, and it is the part that bites.
We stay on. Platform rules change, dependencies break, and stores move the goalposts. Someone has to be there when they do.
About
Farmen Capital, LLC is a husband-and-wife team. We are the designers, the engineers, the people who answer support email, and the people whose name is on the LLC. That is the whole org chart, and it is the point.
Working this way means decisions take minutes instead of sprints, nothing gets lost in a handoff between a design team and a dev team, and the person who wrote the code is the person who has to live with it. We are betting the studio on AI-assisted engineering, which is how two people ship on five platforms at once.
We are based in the United States and work with a deliberately short client list, because that is the only way to stay this involved in every project.
Not a deliverable. If it is broken at 11pm, it is still ours.
Adventurous product, conservative infrastructure. Data does not get to be exciting.
Opinions get cheap once real people are using the thing.
We turn down more work than we take. It is why the work is good.
